Integrative Therapist

My name is Ciaran, I am an Integrative Therapist based in Sheffield. I see clients in person at the Practice Rooms in Sheffield as well as working with clients online and via telephone.
I support clients in learning to regulate emotions more effectively, uncovering their core values and reflecting on what truly makes life meaningful. My approach invites you to explore all aspects of yourself, from the parts that feel strong and resourceful, to the parts that may have been pushed aside, silenced or judged as unacceptable. This can involve inner child work, exploring unmet needs and developing greater self-compassion. Together, we can look at what it means to build a meaningful life – one that feels authentic, balanced and guided by a deeper sense of self-acceptance.
How therapy can work for you
Developing Awareness
This involves becoming more conscious of your thoughts, emotions, and reactions in the moment. Increased awareness helps you notice patterns you may have overlooked and creates space for intentional change.
Understanding Your Internal Process
Together, we’ll journey deeply into your inner world and explore some of the processes that influence your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. By understanding these inner dynamics, you can make sense of why you feel or act the way you do.
Developing Tools and Practicing New Behaviours
You can learn and develop practical skills and apply these in real-life situations. This can include emotional regulation, communication techniques, and coping strategies. This practice strengthens new, healthier habits over time
Uncovering Your Values
Therapy supports you in clarifying what matters most to you; your principles, priorities, and sources of meaning. Knowing your values helps guide decisions and align your actions with the life you want to build.

FAQs
How are the therapy sessions conducted?
Sessions are conducted in person, online or via telephone. For in person sessions I work from the Practice Rooms in Sheffield
What is Integrative Therapy?
Integrative – means I am not bound by one specific therapeutic approach and bring in an array of theories and interventions depending on what you need as a client.
What commitment is required?
It’s entirely up to you how often and how long you choose to attend therapy. However, to gain the most benefit, it’s recommended that you attend sessions regularly, remain open to self-reflection and change, and actively apply the strategies you learn in your daily life.
How much does it cost?
I charge £60 for a 50 minute session.
Who is therapy for?
Therapy is for anyone seeking support, personal growth, or a better understanding of themselves and their experiences. I work with a wide range of people from varying life experiences.
How do I know if therapy is working?
Over time, you may find yourself using tools from sessions, communicating more effectively, or feeling more emotionally balanced. Progress isn’t always linear, but a growing sense of clarity, resilience, or self-awareness is often a sign that therapy is making a difference.
